I did not receive an EDI transmission I expected from CCBCC
- what do I do?
If you are EDI support from a CCBCC EDI trading partner, please verify that your
internal systems did not have problems and lose the transmission. Also, please
check the VAN if you are a VAN customer, in case the data has not been picked
up, or in case someone else in your company already picked it up and processed
it. If you are an FTP or AS2 customer, please verify that those processes are
functioning properly at your receiving site.
If you are business support from a CCBCC EDI trading partner, please
check with your EDI support folks and possibly other IT support to verify
the transmission was not lost in your internal systems or is still waiting
to be processed before you will see it.
If you have verified that your internal systems are working properly,
please refer to the CCBCC EDI Contacts page under the EDI Setups tab
to contact our EDI Support Team for help with locating the transmission.
Our normal business hours are 8:00 AM through 4:00 PM. Please leave a
voice mail if you cannot get us and we will return your call.
What are CCBCC approved communication methods for transmitting
EDI documents?
Communication methods approved by CCBCC for transmitting EDI documents are AS2,
Secure FTP, VPN and VAN.
When and how often can I transmit my transactions?
When and how often you transmit documents depends on the arrangements with the
VAN or your trading partner. Currently, CCBCC picks up mail from their VAN
mailbox multiple times a day, and FTP and AS2 connections are normally open,
though processing may take place later in the day.

Does the trading partner agreement have to be signed prior to
testing EDI transactions with CCBCC?
No, the Trading Partner Agreement does not have to be signed prior to testing,
however the agreement must be signed prior to going “live” with
CCBCC.
Does CCBCC trade other EDI transactions besides the ones identified
on the website?
Yes, we trade a number of other EDI transactions and we trade other ANSI X12
versions other than 4010. Our goal is to standardize on version 4010 for existing
transaction sets, but we try to work with potential trading partners to find
mutually beneficial solutions to electronic business needs.
What if there are errors in an EDI transmission?
If the transmission process is failing, work with the VAN or our EDI Support
Team to resolve the problems. If there are data errors, the source of the data
is normally responsible to correct and resend the data. Please let us know
if you have sent bad data in case we can stop it from processing through our
system. Also, please let us know if you think we have sent bad data to you
so we can resolve the problem and resend good data.
